Set the manual floor height before treating poor carpet pickup as a drive failure. If the bag indicator remains active, inspect the top-load bag, microfilter, exhaust filter, side hose and wand for restriction; compare hose-end suction with the base opening. A stopped brush requires thread removal, strip and belt checks.
