Model issues and repair guidance
A floor-change complaint belongs first to the foot linkage, not the vacuum motor. If the pedal does not change floor contact, inspect its linkage and the two brush-strip positions. Hair left on carpet with normal airflow points to worn or loaded lint pickers, while hard pushing can come from deployed brushes, guard contact, or a stiff neck.Confirm hose suction, then clear the double-swivel neck and metal-base channel. A pedal that does not change contact points to linkage or brush-strip position. Normal airflow with missed fibers moves to lint pickers; heavy push moves to deployed brushes, guard, or neck.
