Preserve the front LED state and test the override switch before disturbing the tall motor housing. For reduced suction at all valves, inspect bag-or-pail selection, filter, deep lower seal and both latches; a change at one valve points away from the power unit. The override can distinguish house low-voltage wiring from unit operation, but motor and control-board conclusions still require line-power and airflow checks.Record front LEDs and test the override. Whole-house loss leads to bag-or-pail fit, filter, deep lower seal and latches; one weak valve stays local. Use override to separate inlet wiring from unit power before motor or board service.
