Model issues and repair guidance

A pickup change when the tube folds is evidence to inspect the mid-wand airway and seals, not proof of a motor problem. Compare suction above and below the hinge, then clear the bin, filter, lower tube, wide floor brush, roller chamber, and contacts. If the hand unit pulses with the tube removed, keep service upstream. If it runs normally straight but stops while folded, the hinge passage and conductors need attention before the battery.Compare suction above and below the folding hinge. A change there isolates its airway, seals, or conductors; pulsing with the tube removed points to bin and filter. Clear the lower tube, wide head, roller, and contacts before battery diagnosis.
