Model issues and repair guidance
Set the suction collar fully open before treating reduced floor pickup as a blockage. Then compare suction at the hand body with suction through the straight wand and nozzle: a strong hand body isolates the wand, elbow, roller chamber, or head connection, while weakness there points to the compact cup, shroud, filters, or internal inlet. Any intermittent power during cord movement should stop testing until the plug, jacket, strain relief, switch, and conductors are inspected.Open the suction collar, then compare the hand body with the wand and nozzle. Strong body suction isolates wand, elbow, roller, or head connection; weak body suction points to cup, shroud, filters, or inlet. Cord-movement cutout requires a power-circuit inspection.
