Check whether the clamp-hook dust box closes squarely before treating weak pull as motor wear. Test at the body inlet, then add hose, tube, and floor brush; the first stage that reduces pull contains the restriction or leak. If body suction is low, service the filter cassette and inspect its frame, lid packing, and exhaust route.
