Use the rotary hose bend as the first split for weak suction. If body-inlet pull is sound, inspect the bend, connection pipe, floor tool, cuffs, and any lodged debris; weak body pull directs service to the removable dust box, filter, packings, and fan inlet. The retractable lead forms a separate electrical branch. A machine that powers only at certain cord lengths needs plug, exposed lead, reel contacts, switch, and motor feed checked before the suction motor is replaced.Test at the body before the rotary hose bend. Good inlet pull isolates bend, pipe, floor tool, cuffs, or debris; weak pull points to dust box, filter, packings, and fan inlet. Length-sensitive power sends service to plug, lead, reel contacts, switch, and motor feed.
