Compare suction at the rear hose and nozzle pipe; weak suction at both keeps the paper bag, inlet filter, outlet filter, hose, and dust-box packings in view, while strong hose pull moves to the belt and rotary brush. Dust at the front cover points to packing or latch fit. Electrical service follows cord, switch, carbon brushes, motor, and fan after the airway is open.Compare rear-hose suction with the nozzle pipe. Weak pull at both points to bag, inlet and outlet filters, hose, or dust-box packing; strong hose pull isolates belt and rotary brush.
