Model issues and repair guidance
Start a floor-pickup complaint at the blue soft bag, lower dirt passage, belt, brush ends, and rear stretch hose, then compare suction with the hose removed. One documented owner teardown replaced both motor bearings, so a harsh lower-body rumble that remains after the roller and belt turn freely warrants fan, bearing, and motor isolation rather than another airflow part. A dead unit still begins at the cord, switch, and terminals.Check soft bag, lower dirt passage, belt, brush ends, and stretch hose, then compare suction without the hose. A documented rebuild replaced both motor bearings; brush-free rumble therefore keeps fan, bearings, and motor in the branch. No power starts at cord and switch.
