Model issues and repair guidance

For reduced pickup on rugs, inspect the metal brushroll and belt beneath the headlight base, then clear the direct-air opening and bag inlet. On hard floor, also check that the squeegee is present and not folded because its seal changes debris capture without changing motor suction. A dark headlight is its own circuit; it should not be used to diagnose the handle switch, cord or thermal protection.Inspect metal brush, belt, base opening and bag inlet for weak carpet pickup. On hard floors, verify the squeegee seal. Keep a failed headlight separate from switch, cord and thermal checks; this direct-air upright has no hose branch.
