Model issues and repair guidance

The shorter cylindrical filter barrel changes capacity, not the diagnostic order. Remove the floor tool and wand, compare suction through and without the hose, then open the twist cap to inspect the six-quart bag, cloth filter, dome element, foam, and disk. A leak at the cap or cuff can mimic a weak fan. If the motor is silent, verify the detachable lead, pigtail, belt switch, thermal device, carbon brushes, and motor connections.Separate tool, wand, and hose, then inspect twist-cap seal, six-quart bag, cloth filter, dome element, foam, and disk. A cap or cuff leak can mimic weak fan output. Silence moves to detachable lead, pigtail, switch, protector, brushes, and motor.
