Model issues and repair guidance

For the waist-mounted shell, test whether the side-entry hose changes shape when the belt is tightened. Good suction with the unit off the body but poor pickup while worn points to a pinched hose, cuff, or inlet seal; weak suction in both positions moves to the bag, filter layers, fan, and motor. If the motor cuts with torso movement, inspect the external cord, strain relief, belt switch, and terminals. The padded belt itself is not an airflow repair.Compare pickup off the body and with the waist belt tightened. Worn-only loss isolates side hose, cuff, or inlet seal; loss in both positions moves to bag, filters, fan, and motor. Motion-related cutout points to cord, strain relief, belt switch, and terminals.
