Use the removable top cap to divide the cleaning path from the motor section. A strong pull at the body with the hose removed directs service to its elbow, cuffs, wand, or floor tool; weak body suction directs service to the bag, cloth filter, dome filter, exhaust doors, and their seals. If the unit cuts out only after warming, correct restriction first, then inspect the thermal protector, switch cord, motor brushes, and fan assembly.Compare suction at the open body and through the hose.
