Model issues and repair guidance

Use a direct power-unit test to keep building tubing separate from the collection canister. Clear the hose and affected branch first, then inspect the pail seal and documented filter before control, fan, or motor work. The filter cone above the lower pail can lose its seal or remain dust-loaded after emptying, so service that junction before moving from weak direct suction to fan or motor diagnosis.A sound front-port test keeps service in the wall circuit; weak direct suction starts at pail, filter, gasket, and fan path. After emptying the pail, inspect the filter cone and its seal before escalating weak direct suction to fan or motor work.
