Model issues and repair guidance
Use the two suction speeds to compare airflow, but diagnose an illuminated caution lamp before opening the switch. Inspect the cone stack, flat disc, tub lip, hose, wand, and low nozzle for restriction; a lamp that clears after this work points away from the motor. When body suction is firm and carpet pickup is not, inspect the cogged belt, roller wear, reset, and snap-lock contacts. A dead power unit moves through outlet, cord, rocker, protector, fan, and motor. For a caution lamp, inspect cone stack, flat disc, tub lip, hose, wand, and nozzle before the motor. Firm body suction with poor carpet pickup shifts to cogged belt, roller, reset, and contacts. No start follows cord, rocker, protector, fan, and motor.
