Model issues and repair guidance
Compare loss at the wide carpet head with bare suction at the triple-crown body. Strong body pull directs service to hose, external cord, wand joints, flat belt, brush ends, and nozzle motor; weak body pull directs it to cone, disc, tub gasket, clamps, fan, and main motor. Inspect the belt before assuming an electrical fault: one exact-generation owner described a break after the canister still cleaned normally. Total no start remains a cord-and-switch branch.Compare body pull with the carpet head. Strong suction isolates hose, external lead, wand joints, flat belt, brush ends, or head motor; weak pull points to filters, tub gasket, fan, or main motor. One owner reported a broken head belt while canister suction remained.
