Set the manual brush switch deliberately before testing an apparent roller fault. Normal suction at the hose isolates a floor-only complaint to the LED head, lower duct, roller, belt, or their connection; weak hose pickup sends the check back through the cup, filters, and shared airway. Trace cord, switch, or motor only when both tool and floor modes lose power with a clear air path.Check cup, filters, hose, and nozzle duct, then compare hose suction with base pickup. If airflow remains but agitation stops, inspect roller, belt, and floor setting before mains power. Confirm the manual brush switch is in the correct state before electrical testing.
