Separate containment, above-floor suction, and carpet agitation. Reseat the cup and filters, clear the hose and nozzle duct, then turn the brush by hand and inspect its belt drive. A no-start or heat-related cutout should be retested with an open air path before cord, switch, fan, or motor diagnosis. Reseat the top-release dual-cyclone cup before checking its lower seal.
