This bypass-motor commercial upright has a magnetic tool-hose inlet, separate compartment seals, and a high-visibility long cord, so its hose changeover deserves a direct test. Use hose suction to divide the bag-and-air path from the carpet nozzle. A full or poorly seated bag, dirty filter, split hose, or intake obstruction can imitate motor loss. When the hose pulls normally but carpet pickup fails, inspect brush rotation and belt condition before electrical service.Diagnosis separates the bypass body, magnetic hose inlet, compartment seals, and carpet nozzle. Clear the bag-to-nozzle air path first. If hose suction remains, inspect brush and belt; if the whole machine is dead, follow cord, switch, thermal, fan, and motor paths.
