Model issues and repair guidance

Separate brush drag from airflow by turning the roller with power disconnected. Resistance at one end moves to wrapped fibers, supports, belt alignment, and cover fit; a free roller with weak pickup moves to front duct, bag throat, filter, housing seal, and fan inlet. A slipping belt can leave normal motor sound while grooming fades. If neither fan nor brush starts, inspect cord entry, switch, connectors, fan wheel, and motor before replacing the assembly. With power disconnected, turn the roller by hand. End drag points to fibers, supports, belt alignment, or cover fit; a free brush with weak pull moves to duct, bag throat, filter, seal, and fan inlet. If neither fan nor brush starts, trace cord entry, switch, and motor.
