Model issues and repair guidance
The hose-end test is the useful dividing line on this lightweight chassis. Strong suction there but weak carpet pickup directs attention to the lower hose, 10-inch foot, brush housing, roll, and belt; weak suction there directs attention to hose damage or blockage, the small dirt tank, separator, and filter. Straighten the lower hose by reclining the foot before clearing it. A roll that cannot spin several turns from one flick should be serviced before the motor.Use the hose-end test to split the system. Strong flow sends you to lower hose, compact foot, brush housing, roll, and belt; weak flow sends you to hose damage, cup, separator, and filter. Recline to straighten the lower hose before clearing it.
