Test suction at the motor duct with the cup removed. If the motor duct pulls, inspect the cup's rubber flap: when pushed outward into the tool channel it restricts pickup. Then empty the cup, unlock the filter from its screen, wash and fully dry both, and reseat the assembly flush. If direct suction is restored but the motorized upholstery roll stays still, unlock its end cover and clear the roll separately. Charging and battery checks follow this short air-path test.Test at the motor duct with the cup off. If it pulls, return the rubber flap inside the cup, then clean, dry, and flush-seat the filter and screen. If direct suction returns but the pet roll stops, unlock its cover and clear the tool before charger or battery work.
