Model issues and repair guidance
Check filter setup before comparing wet and dry pickup: BISSELL's procedure requires both the fabric and mesh filters for either mode. Then inspect the six-gallon tank level, lid seating, suction inlet, 23-foot hose, telescoping wand, and chosen wet or dry tool. A changed motor sound during liquid pickup may mark tank protection rather than motor failure. Compare the blower outlet separately, and reserve cord, switch, fan, or motor testing for clear tanks and passages.Use both fabric and mesh filters for wet or dry pickup, then inspect tank level, lid seating, inlet, hose, wand, and selected tool. Treat a liquid-pickup sound change as a tank-protection cue, compare blower flow separately, and leave motor work last.
