Because the brush continues turning while this upright is parked, switch it off before leaving it stationary or beginning above-floor work. For a noisy or stopped roll, remove the cover, verify the brush spins freely, and inspect the belt and squeegee area. If pickup fades, start with the full tank, separator, and washable pre-motor filter, allow washed parts to dry for 24 hours, then trace the stretch hose and foot passage before escalating to motor service.The brush can keep turning while the machine is upright, so switch off before stationary or above-floor work.
